sxml-tools/ should be a straight CVS export from http://ssax.cvs.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ssax/sxml-tools/
Afterwards, apply chicken/patch*.diff to the tree.

We try to avoid patching the tree itself, preferring to 
keep modifications in chicken wrappers, but sometimes it is unavoidable.
