Also of interest is the Swindle module tiny-clos, a heavily hacked derivative of the Xerox
code produced by Eli Barzalay, "fitted to MzScheme, optimized and extended."  The Chicken
code seems to be based on that--it includes some comments and code introduced by Barzilay.
